Sessions and experiences

Shearing time happens once a year for the sheep but every two years for the Llamas.

A different kind of support, learning and connection - rooted in animals, nature and real life on the farm.

FArm & animal experiences

Hands-on opportunities to experience real farm life. Spend time with our animals, learn about their care, help with everyday farm tasks and discover where food comes from. Sessions can include feeding, grooming, animal handling, seasonal activities and practical farm skills.

Nature & outdoor learning

Our farm, woodland and countryside become the classroom. From nature walks, fire lighting and outdoor cooking to environmental projects, traditional skills and wildlife activities, sessions encourage curiosity, confidence, teamwork and learning through doing.

FArm to Fork & community growing

Follow food from seed to plate through our growing spaces, orchard and farm. Activities are dependant on the time of year and can include sowing, planting, harvesting, cooking and preserving seasonal produce - helping people understand food, nature and sustainable living through practical experience.

Children, young people & Groups

We welcome schools, community organisations, youth groups and other organised groups for meaningful farm and nature based experiences. Activities can be adapted to age, ability and the needs of the group (including curriculum-based goals), with an emphasis on participation rather than pressure.

individual & bespoke support

For people who may benefit from a quieter or more individual approach, sessions can be shaped around the person. Animal, nature, practical activities and therapeutic support can be brought together to create a calm environment in which confidence and connection can develop naturally.

Community & funded programmes

Throughout the year Simpli.life works with partners and funders to provide free or subsidisedo opportunities for local people. These can include carers sessions, community growing, children's holiday activities, wellbeing programs and other projects designed around local need

Your session, your way

No two people - and no two days on the farm - are quite the same.

Sessions can draw on animal care, growing, horticulture, nature, traditional rural skills, cooking, crafts, environmental activities, team building and simply spending time outdoors.

We adapt activities wherever possible around the individual or group, their interests, abilities and what they would like to achieve.
