Maria has a lifelong connection with farming, animals and the countryside. After agricultural college, she worked in farming and horse racing before moving into business and later retraining as a complimentary therapist.

With over 25 years' experience, Maria's therapeutic background includes Reflexology, Reike, massage, Aromatherapy, Emmett Technique and counselling, alongside experience in education, safeguarding and welfare.

At Simpli.life, Maria brings these different worlds together - therapeutic support, animals, farming and nature - to create opportunities for people to reconnect, build confidence and discover what they are capable of.

She believes deeply in a natural, individual approach: giving people time, understanding and the right environment rather than expecting everyone to fit the same mould.

David brings more than 50 years of practical farming knowledge and experience to Simpli.life. A lifelong dairy farmer, he has worked with both traditional and modern farming systems, including organic farming and robotic milking.

Throughout his career, David has employed and trained numerous apprentices and young people, passing on practical skills, knowledge and an understanding of responsible farming.

His experience extends beyond his own farm. David has helped establish and run farmer groups, served as a County Young Farmers leader and held leadership roles within the Tenant Farmers Forum and his local Rotary Club.

At SImpli.life, David's practical knowledge - and wonderfully straightforward approach to life- helps turn the farm into a place where people can learn by actually doing.

Julie combines a strong agricultural and equine background with may years of supporting children and young people.

A graduate in Equine Studies, her varied career has included roles in animal welfare, stud farming, milk recording and Early Years education. She has also spent more than 12 years as a Scout leader, where her responsibilities included program planning, risk assessment, safeguarding and supporting other leaders.

Julie has extensive safeguarding and welfare experience both through Scouting and British Gymnastics.

She is passionate about the outdoors and believes everyone - whatever their age, background or circumstances - should have the opportunities to experience a life beyond screens, try something new and discover their own abilities.
